MGLではイングリッシュイマージョン教育を採用しております。英語で様々なことを体験し、遊び、学ぶことを日常とする生活を送ることによって、自然に英語を習得する教育方法です。出来た！楽しい！という達成感や満足感を得る機会を多く持ち、子ども達の知的好奇心を満たす教育を行っております。また、人を思いやる優しい心と社会性の基礎を育み、園生活では正しい生活習慣やマナーを身につけていきます。
The English Immersion educational method allows children to acquire English naturally through playing, learning and gaining a variety of experiences in their daily school life. We provide opportunities for children to succeed and become confident through fun activities and setting achievable targets, so they can satisfy their innate inquisitiveness. We aim to nurture children into developing warm-heartedness for others and the importance of manners and the school rules, which play a large part in their socializing skills.
ネイティブ講師と日本人の保育士資格者が子ども達の教育と保育に当たっています。レッスン以外に、遊び時間や食事中などにも英語で関わることにより、生きた英語が自然と身につきます。そのような環境にも、子ども特有の順応性ですぐに馴染みます。山と川に囲まれ、自然に恵まれた地域の中で四季を感じ、近隣の公園や広い園庭で思い切り遊び、体力作りをしています。
MGL preschool staff includes native English teachers and Japanese nursery teachers. Children are able to absorb and learn practical English all through the day, not only from lessons but also during playtime and lunchtime. It is amazing how quickly children can adapt to such an environment. In no time, children, who have never spoken a word of English previously, start conversing in English. With a mountain, a river, and parks nearby, and a large school playground, children can appreciate the nature that is all around them. They can enjoy playing actively and build their physical strength.
英語を話すだけではなく、読み・書きのスキルも学び、バランスの取れた英語を身につけることを目的としています。一日の中で「静と動」のメリハリを持たせ、子ども達の持つ多くの興味と疑問に向き合うカリキュラムを実施しています。音楽・工作・運動などについても英語で授業を行い、週に一度は日本語の読み・書きや、日本の文化も学びます。また、スイミングや空手にも取り組みます。日常生活だけでなく、様々なイベントを通じて異文化体験が出来ます。
MGL management has designed the curriculum for children to acquire well-balanced English skills. This signifies not only communication skills but also reading and writing skills. We have established a curriculum that activates and satisfies children’s intellectual curiosity and sustains children’s interest by having quiet and active times throughout the day. All the lessons, including Music, Arts and Crafts, and PE, are conducted in English. Children learn how to read and write Japanese and Japanese culture once a week. Karate and swimming lessons are also offered as well. Through a variety of lessons and activities, and in addition by taking part in a calendar of events across the year, children can experience English culture. All of these opportunities are vital to make good progress in English proficiency and gain a cultural understanding.
